About Us
Hi, I’m Diego – founder of DR Finances.
After more than 15 years working in accounting, I realized my true purpose goes beyond numbers: it’s about helping organizations—especially non-profits and Indigenous communities—use their finances as a strategic, accessible tool.
As a migrant living in Canada, adapting to Montreal and the Quebec context taught me how essential understanding and context are. A single word without meaning can intimidate—numbers are no different. That’s why I create reports that are intuitive, human, and empowering for anyone, regardless of their background.
DR Finances started as a response to a need: a lack of accountants who truly understood the nonprofit space. Today, the firm also supports private organizations that seek to become more financially efficient while creating social value.
I’m currently pursuing CPA certification in Quebec and I’m committed to building a team that works with ethics, clarity, and purpose. Nothing drives me more than seeing our clients grow with confidence—and use their numbers to change lives.
